Gurjit Thind, from Slough, was desperate to reclaim her health and independence. At one time, her constant suffering with aches and pain were severely impacting upon her morale and role in family life. It was at this low-point that she discovered Synergy Wellbeing, at Slough’s Montem Leisure Centre. This state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility offers power-assisted Shapemaster equipment.

Through regularly taking part in the specially designed 36-minutes sessions, under the guidance of the expertly trained staff, Gurjit began to experience a huge improvement in her debilitating shoulder, hip and neck pain caused by the arthritis which had previously affected her so much.

Gurjit explains: “Joining Synergy Wellbeing was one of the best decisions I have made in a long time. The pain that I suffered from for years has improved dramatically and my overall mobility and energy levels have increased hugely.

“I have made lots of new close friends, whom seem almost like family, and I have been struck by how lovely and kind everyone is. And, as an added bonus, I’ve lost 20 kilograms since joining last spring.”

Since its inception Synergy Wellbeing has helped people with conditions including joint and back pain, injury rehabilitation and the management of chronic illnesses such as MS and Fibromyalgia.
